ULTIMATE PURPOSE
Even if ultimate purpose is just later, not higher, durability is important. Does this joke have legs? Will it keep going indefinitely? Will funny money grow and spread? Will it succeed as entertainment? Then we can stay funny for a long time.
Some will ask if there's more than entertainment. What can funny money do in the real world? Well, entertainment can do a lot, make people funny, save them from seriousness. That's the highest goal in this story.
The question remains, what are all these funny people to do? Our ultimate purpose still beckons.
